Travio World ("Travio", "we", "our", or "us") provides a mobile trip-planning application ("App") that helps users discover destinations, build itineraries, journal their trips, and share travel reviews. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
When you create an account, we collect your email address, password (stored hashed, never in plain text), display name, and optional profile photo. You may also provide a short bio, home location, and links to your social profiles.
When you use the App, you may create and store the following content with us: trip itineraries, travel journals, bookmarks, reviews, ratings, comments, photos you upload, chat messages with other travelers, and content you share to your profile or feed.
With your permission, the App accesses your device location to show nearby destinations, suggest places, and render maps with your current position. Location data is used in real time and is not continuously tracked in the background. You can revoke location permission at any time from your device settings.
With your permission, the App uses your camera to capture profile and trip photos and accesses your photo library so you can select existing photos to attach to your profile or trips. Photos are uploaded only when you choose to add them to your profile or content.
We collect basic device information (device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, and a non-resettable installation ID) and usage analytics (screens visited, features used, crash diagnostics, performance metrics) to improve the App and diagnose problems.
If you enable push notifications, we store the notification token issued by Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can deliver notifications related to your trips, messages, and account activity.
We rely on a limited set of trusted service providers ("processors") to operate the App. They process data only on our instructions and under contractual data-protection obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to advertisers. We do not use your data to deliver third-party targeted advertising inside the App.
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or tax purposes. Backups are purged on a rolling 90-day cycle.
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or other regions with applicable data-protection laws, you may have additional rights (objection, restriction, portability, lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority). Contact us to exercise them.
Travio World is not directed to children under 13 (or under the minimum digital-consent age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest, hashed passwords, scoped service-account credentials, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we work continuously to protect your data.
Your data may be processed in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States and Singapore, where our service providers operate. Where required, we use standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
